What makes this bag truly unique is its inner lining: crafted from sterilisation wrap donated by Cork University Maternity Hospital. This safe, water-resistant material, normally destined for landfill, has been repurposed to give your belongings an extra layer of protection while reducing waste.
The vibrant, patterned outer fabric is sourced from a Cork-based supplier, supporting small local businesses and minimising environmental impact from transportation.
Each bag comes wrapped in packaging handmade from the same upcycled sterilisation wrap, so nothing goes to waste.

This bag was designed and made by our Head Seamstress, Thembie, and her team. Thembie has trained members of our community in her techniques, ensuring each bag is crafted to the highest standard with skill, care, and pride.
